We realize our activities impact on the environment and we make it our responsibility to manage those impacts. For example, through rehabilitation of our quarries we are creating important habitats and ecosystems.

We are committed towards maximizing biodiversity around its plants and quarry sites. We have started monitoring the ecological evolution of our sites to help identify risks and opportunities. Planting trees in and around our mines, manufacturing facilities, residential colonies and nearby villages has been a constant feature.

TIn our commitment to engage with the communities, we are also involving villages in plantation drive through distribution of tree saplings compatible with the local geography and its plantation within villages.

Ecology at our plants makes a good habitat place for migrating birds, rare kinds of birds are seen in plants which are almost vanished from surrounding. Water bodies and green zones create a sound space for living of birds like pigeon, ducks, sparrow etc. at plant level.
